A guide will open the doors of the Espluga Caves and accompany you on a tour during which you will learn about the different human communities that lived in this same place thousands of years ago.

In a simulated excavation, located inside a hut on the site, schoolchildren will learn how to use the tools used by archaeologists and learn about excavation and interpretation techniques.

This activity, halfway between leisure and training, the students will discover the most natural and magical part of the Caves of l’Espluga. Equipped with a wetsuit, helmet and light, accompanied by two speleologist guides, they will go up the subway part of the Francolí river for about 900 meters.
INFORMATIONAs a complement to the visit to the Caves of l’Espluga, the students of the infant and primary cycles can do the Prehistory Workshop; and the secondary students have the Archaeological Excavation Workshop.
